Ius Commune Ph.D. Training Programme 2022-2023: Introduction Meeting
Maastricht, Monday 24 and Tuesday 25 (optional Thursday 27) October 2022
During the first day of the meeting the Academic Director will explain the structure of the research groups, and the place of Ph.D. Researchers in this framework. Moreover, the introduction meeting will focus the attention of Ph.D. Researchers to the opportunities the research school offers. This day offers the Ph.D. Researcher an insight in the research school they may not obtain in their own faculty.
The second day of the meeting is devoted to presentation skills. Before their fellow Ph.D. Researchers, each researcher will give a short presentation on their research until that moment and indications on how the research will continue in the future. The fellow Ph.D. Researchers will comment on the presentation and ask questions. A presentation expert will be present during the whole day to give advice on presentation skills.

Introduction
This two-day meeting takes place in Maastricht in mid-October and is intended to provide a general introduction to the Research School, its mission, objectives and aims and the relation of these to the research carried out in the Research School. First and foremost, this meeting allows Ph.D. Researchers from different faculties to meet and to talk about their research, practical issues and many more.During the first day of the meeting the Academic Director will explain the structure of the research groups, and the place of Ph.D. Researchers in this framework.
