Abstract:
The dissertation examines the expansion of international courts and tribunals and the resulting transformation of international law. It scrutinizes the institutional rules shaping the personae of courts, notably, their constituent instruments, rules of procedure, practice directions and rules of conduct, as well as the courts attributions and powers, such as the power to adopt rules of procedure.
