Abstract:
The development of the EU Single Market and the growing importance of fundamental rights protection in the EU can be viewed as narratives within a normative dialogue. I will investigate what narrative can be found in the EU fundamental rights instruments, and whether the narrative of the EU Single Market, particularly in its responses to new challenges caused by developments in the fields of digital communication and biotechnology, is consistent with it. I will apply the Law and Literature methodologies in ny research.
