Promotor: Mrs Dr E. Muir
Duration: 1/9/2017 - 31/8/2023
Abstract:
The PhD research is situated on the nexus of the fields of EU data protection law and EU fundamental rights law. It will critically examine the constitutional framework for the protection of the fundamental right to data protection in the EU and will attempt to clarify how the Court of Justice of the European Union articulates the relationship between the constitutional right to data protection and the legislation giving expression to that fundamental right.
