Abstract:

The research project 'Living wills: a secure road?' concerns the living will (internationally also known as a continuing, enduring or lasting power of attorney), a document in which provisions can be made with a view to a later period of incapacity. The research project focuses on the practice of the living will in the Netherlands and other European countries, problems that may arise and solutions for these problems based on best practices.
