Abstract:
The research is about the relationship between (national) security and fundamental rights in the domain of intelligence. The context in which intelligence is gathered by intelligence and security services, is constantly changing due to digitalisation and globalisation. In my research I should reflect on the applicable legal framework. The research should amount to a better understanding of underlying normative frameworks, and connections should be drawn between theories of law and other (international) legal frameworks. The research should lead to recommendations regarding policy and regulation in the area of intelligence.
