Abstract:
My research aims to analyse how the UN can be held accountable for human rights violations committed during UN peace operations. As it is often the case that the organisation is held to be immune, alternative mechanisms need to be established. Examining the developments from transitional justice, this work will aim to advance alternative notions aimed at providing redress for victims.
