Abstract:
My PhD research concerns large-scale collective action problems. More specifically, I am analyzing the case study of the emergence of international climate change policy from the late 1970s until the adoption of the Kyoto Protocol in 1997 to determine the factors that aided or hindered the process. Additionally, I am aiming to identify whether the emergence of collective action in this case was influenced by any behavioral factors.
