Abstract:

This research will focus on the social enterprise and its investor. The main question is how the legal framework of a social enterprise can stimulate investments while it also safeguards its social mission. Empirical research will play an important role in answering this question, focusing on the perceptions and drivers of (potential) investors. What are the push-and pull-factors for investors to invest and what impact does a legal framework have on this behavior?
