Abstract:
The impact of filter bubbles and algorithmic personal pricing in the digital platform economy on consumer protection rights: researching filter bubbles and algorithmic (personal) pricing with the aim of an exemplary case study of the music/entertainment industry as well as defining transparency issues B2C wise. Main focus is to research the impact of algorithmic driven systems on consumers and if they are sufficiently protected in the increased digital platform economy (unfair terms, personal data, unfair B2C practices).
