Abstract:
European public procurement law rules require public authorities to apply competitive tendering procedures when buying goods and services. These procedures, however, may lead to inefficient outcomes for reasons inherent in the aforesaid. This research intends to analyse these reasons and to give recommendations for counterbalancing their negative effects.
