Abstract:
My PhD project seeks to study the the legal structure and enforceability of those labour clauses on the LAC EU FTAs. By combining doctrinal legal analysis with comparative case studies, the research aims to contribute to the ongoing debates on the effectiveness of labour standards in international trade and provide LAC policy-makers and interested trading partners with actionable insights to enhance their strategic negotiation in international trade discussions.
