Abstract:
This research examines whether and to what extent the EU can legally restrict the access of third-country economic operators to its innovation procurement market. It explores the balance between protecting the EU's strategic interests and upholding international free trade principles, the recent shift towards protectionism and draws comparative insights from the United States.
